Husker Volleyball Unveils 2023 Schedule

The Nebraska volleyball team unveiled its 2023 schedule on Wednesday, featuring a tough slate that includes 13 home matches.

The Huskers will kick off the season on August 25-27 at the Bob Devaney Center, hosting Utah State, Lipscomb, and SMU in a round-robin tournament. Nebraska will then travel to Kansas State on September 3 for a non-conference match.

The Big Ten schedule begins on September 9, with the Huskers hosting Ohio State. Nebraska will also host Minnesota, Penn State, Purdue, Michigan, and Michigan State at the Devaney Center.

The Huskers will travel to Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota for their Big Ten road matches. Nebraska will also travel to California for the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge on September 22-23.

The Huskers will finish the regular season at home against Northwestern on November 17.

Nebraska is coming off a 24-8 season in 2022, reaching the NCAA Tournament for the 29th time in program history. The Huskers were led by All-Big Ten First Team selection Lexi Sun, who led the team with 4.48 kills per set.

The Huskers will be looking to return to the NCAA Tournament in 2023 and make a run at a Big Ten title. The team has a strong returning core, led by Sun, and will be looking to add some new pieces to the mix.
